A touching commercial that rubs the deepest part of your heart
2011 commercial by MOE (Ministry of Education) Singapore. Teachers are mentors and role models to their pupils. They influence young minds and inculcate sound social and moral values through word and deed, within and outside the classroom. They must impart to pupils learning skills, thinking skills and life skills to cope with the future; an attitude of continuous learning and improvement; and a sense of commitment and belonging to Singapore. This video is not my property, nor do I have any part in this except for aiding in advertising this commercial.

Also, when I state in the video that the science curriculum is not “Christian” or “Environmentalist” please understand that I’m not dissing either of those positions. I just want my kids to study science as science and not “philosophy of science” until they are older.
Homeschool Start to Finish-The Lybrands (Part 1)
Dr. and Mrs. Lybrand have homeschooled their five children over the past 23 years (2 in college…one just graduated from the University of Texas with honors). They are sharing the overview of how it has worked (and some mistakes on the way). They are fans of the Robinson Curriculum, but remain fans of all kinds of approaches as long as the children are “learning how to learn.” They also offer The Writing Course (a full study on teaching grammar, punctuation, creative writing, and essay writing) which may be found at www.advanced-writing-resources.com
